Six months ago, a good friend told me about a lady who was moving, and needed to sell her stash of purse frames. We drove to her home and seeing these vintage and antique frames, I purchased 15 of them. They went into my stash, until 3 weeks ago, I was asked to make a identification badge by another person on Etsy. MadeAtHomeQuilts and I became fast friends, and when I sent her the finished badge, I stuck in a frame for her to play with. She returned it with my black crushed silk, ready for me to weave upon it.

This antique purse frame has a puffy brass heart and wings that have been heat treated for patina and sealed. Layers of handwoven black wire and beads embellish and give the 8x5x2 inch purse a lovely finish.

Custom and personalized orders
YES! I do my own work, so I'll be happy to discuss what I do and what I don't or can't do. Much of my work is custom pieces, you can see many of those finished work on my Facebook page, www.facebook.com/twistedsisterarts
The time to make something will range from one day to two weeks. Usually 2 to 3 days will do it. Keep in mind, the older piece to copy, might not be able to be fulfilled due to ever changing stampings, and my paint is seasonable, when it's gone, it's gone.
When it comes to painting the glass eyes, I will be happy to try several tries to make your preferred color. Just don't ask me to match my kitty or boyfriends eyes, the paints I use don't lend itself to blending or matching.
Sizing details
I really try to post the size of the piece in a listing, if you don't see it in the description, point it out to me, I'm not perfect.
Care instructions
Most of my work is able to be washed with soap and water. That in mind, it won't take a swim or a soak in a hot tub, but general care is necessary to keep the piece intact.
Gift wrapping and packaging
I gift box my smaller pieces. I've got boxes up to 4x6 inches that fit in my packing boxes. I like the presentation and the fact that it will make a piece safer to send to you.
Wholesale availability
I've done some wholesale, who wouldn't like a big order to fill. Don't expect me to discount one or two items for one order. I understand the need to see a piece before placing a big order, contact me and I'll discuss it with you.
